Strinda High School

High school, Strinda, Norway

Architects: Link Arkitekter, Trondheim
Artist: Anne-Karin Furunes

A perforated facade with an artistic impression

Strinda High School is the result of a merger of several educational facilities. One of the main ideas of the project was that the new construction should embrace the existing one, and provide a harmonious yet contrasting space for meetings and activities.

The facade of the school building is made from perforated metal sheets with a combination of round hole perforation as well as RMIG ImagePerf interpreting the design of artist Anne-Karin Furunes. The facade gives the building a transparency and lightness, contributing to the spatial and aesthetic experience.
